Enjoy the beauty of Alaska on a self-guided float trip on the historic Fortymile River or through the Yukon-Charley Preserve on the Charley River. With fantastic grayling fishing, wildlife viewing and a little bit of whitewater these trips will be one you won’t soon forget.

If don’t feel the need to go rafting, enjoy a relaxing fishing trip at one of two lakes with public use cabins.

Jathamund Lake and Wellesley Lake both lie within the Tetlin Wildlife refuge. Both lakes have fully equipped cabins and boats for your use. Just bring your personal items and fishing gear.
Wellesley Lake on the eastern portion of the refuge has fantastic pike fishing.

Jathamund Lake lies in the middle of the refuge near the Nabesna River and offers both pike and lake trout fishing.
